Is that how you spell Ibitha? - it doesn't look right... (OMG I'm so ignorant Blush...any way, is it really 'cosmopolitan, stylish and charming with a refined character' (as the travel agent described to me over the phone just now)?

Thanks....

S E is lovely. Worlds away from San Antonio where all the meat heads go to get off their tits on pills. I went 4 years ago with a friend, and it was fab, and I would say very family friendly. I'd take DS there without a second thought.

Santa Eualaria is nice, sort of modernish town with big seafront promenade. Not as nice as the old town in Ibiza but a good place to be based near

What are you after?

The Punta Arabi hippy market in Es Cana (which you can reach by boat from Santa Eulalia) is worth a visit too.

Depends on whether your brood are into that sorth of thing or not.

Went last year at whitsun - lovely.

We stayed in a friend's place up in the mountain which was lovely but not ideal as limited our outings. But I would return and stay in town.

We spent most days on Niu Blau beach which was fab. Some days the sea was like a mill pond and the children (9B, 8B & 8G) could see the fish swimming through their legs, at others the waves tore in.

I'm after somewhere easy for me and a friend (who have mirror image families, i.e. a nearly 4 year old and a two year old each) to have a pleasant holiday (i.e. need to keep the lo's happy)...

It sounds very promising according to you guys. Thanks!

Go for it!

Weather in early May last year a bit lousy though. My friend's DH had to go out to their community meeting (they have an apartment in a place which used to belong to Aristotle Onassis, iirc) and it rained quite heavily.

At end May we have one really grotty day but mostly around 22-25C and one day really too hot.
