Fancy a coastal day out on South East corner

Does anyone have any suggestions where to try? we've been to Whitstable and Hastings and briefly/unsuccessfully Camber...

Broadstairs is lovely. Love the ice cream shop there!

Depends what you want. Why didn't you like Camber? Too windy?

How commercial do you want it? If you want a beach day with sand and shallow sea for miles, with just a little beach kiosk and bucket shop, St Mary's bay is perfection.

Folkestone does have a small sandy beach with fish n chips,cockle stalls etc but very busy, rest of Folkestone into Hythe is pebbles and a bit of a mare with small kids as its all dips and slopes.

dymchurch is a real buckets n spades beach? Can be heaving which is why we do St Mary's bay! (I live near Hythe)
