Broadstairs is lovely. Love the ice cream shop there!

Depends what you want. Why didn't you like Camber? Too windy?

How commercial do you want it? If you want a beach day with sand and shallow sea for miles, with just a little beach kiosk and bucket shop, St Mary's bay is perfection.

Folkestone does have a small sandy beach with fish n chips, cockle stalls etc but very busy, rest of Folkestone into Hythe is pebbles and a bit of a mare with small kids as its all dips and slopes.

dymchurch is a real buckets n spades beach? Can be heaving which is why we do St Mary's bay! (I live near Hythe)
