Gosh, depends on how old children are and if its now or later in year. Options include Tunbridge Wells itself (15 mins away) gardens open = Scotney(NT) Sissinghurst (NT) and Marle Place. Lamberhurst Vinyard does food as well, interesting houses would be Knowle (NT,Sevenoaks, 25 mins away) Penshurst Place or Groombridge Place, (good for young children but not sure when its season starts). In Goudhurst is Finchcocks House and Garden. Bedgebury Pinetum is just down the road and lovely for walks. Good paths are also buggy friendly. If you let me know the sort of thing you want I will let you know what's around as I am pretty local to Goudhurst.

wow that's loads of ideas. Have been to Groombridge once and loved it. Is for 6 year old and baby in a buggy so any of that is ideal, just a wander after lunch really.

We are not local but LOVE that corner of Kent/E Sussex callmemadam - Bedgebury, Finchcocks, Scotney all favourites with us when ds was tiny, and latterly Groombridge and the fabulous playground at Penshurst are regular haunts.
My only quibble with lovely Groombridge is that there is a killer short hill to get up with your buggy at the start of the Enchanted Forest...ouch.

Groombridge and Penshurst are still shut for the winter. I think they are due to open around 18/3 for Groombridge, not sure about Penshurst.

There are nice walks around Bewl Water Reservoir, and Wilderness Wood (Uckfield direction) still open.
