Surf in Lanzarote?

I've booked a week in Lanzarote and DC want to body board - does anyone know where the best places for reasonable surf in July are likely to be?

Famara has excellent surf - and kite surfing - and good schools

Thanks. We might have to hire a car then as we're staying on the south side - is all the good surf in the north?

Pretty easy to drive around the island - and doesnt take long at all. I'm not into surfing but my DH is and that's where he likes to go.
