Any suggestions please for a good 4 star hotel near the beach in Jersey with a pool- indoor or outdoor. 5 star too expensive for us. Where is a good website for good deals for hotels please. Not in u.k so have to get separate flight. Stayed in Gorey many years ago but hotel got poor reviews on Trip Advisor as very old fashioned. Loved that area. St.Brelades lovely too but hotels on beach very expensive. Bisiting with elderly relative but will hire car.

I can recommend The Merton Hotel in St Helier, fab aqua park, really does cater for children. very nice hotel. As Jersey is small you are never far from the beach.

I like booking.com as it's prices are often the best but also you can filter the search by area, swimming pools stars or whatever else you want and find them all on a map.

Once you have located a hotel look on Trivago and it will tell you which booking site has the best price (only caveat is that the search only does double not triple rooms).

I've stayed at the Merton and while it has place it's a bit holiday camp in feel. Might work with older people but it's not charming in any way shape or form although good value.
