flight upgrades with small children??!!

Hi ya,

Has any one been lucky enough to be offered a flight upgrade while flying with toddlers and babies in tow?

Yeah but only for dh by BA who assumed he was the Frequent Flyer card holder when in fact it was me. I let him fly bus class anyway on the agreement that he would bring me the afternoon cream tea they offered in bus class whilst we got a Kit Kat, which he did.

Upgrades aren't that easy to come by with or without kids in tow

We got upgraded from World Traveller to World Traveller Plus, while flying with DS1. But I think they did that by accident.

Me too - from traveller to traveller plus from JFK to London - but DH is BA gold card holder and I was silver at the time. However we do have 4 kids....
With the frequent flyer cards we've often been upgraded on weekends away with no kids.
