Non 'package deal' last minute holidays

Despite having sections about villas and so on, lastminute.com seems to largely do huge hotels with loads of pools and mountains of food. This is great but just not the type of holiday I'm looking for.

Does anyone know a website or company that does self catering last minute holidays? Even better 'package' self catering where the flight is included? Perhaps I want something that doesnt exist!

Budget isnt huge, £1000 max for the whole thing.

Hoseasons do last minute villa holidays and I think flights can be included. Never been abroad with them but thought they were great to book with when booked a holiday in the uk.

Recently booked flights for 4 to Greece with Ryanair for July £183 return for all 4!
Hotel for 4 for 1 wk incl breakfast £370
Have never felt the need to use a company there's so much available on the internet these days
Hotel can be cancelled right up to departure so not paid for that yet
Good luch and happy hols

We are staying in a SC hotel apartment booked via Thomsons. Did book it ages ago though and a lot more than 1k ( short haul)

Where do you want to go? Do you want a villa or an apartment?

Try Skyscanner for flights as you can just put in your dates and a country and it will bring up the cheapest flights.

For example - flight for 4 to Pula in Croatia would be about £360 and Holiday Rentals.co.uk have lots of apartments round the £400 mark - leaving money for a hire car.

You could try Owners Direct website- you'll have to search but some properties which are new to the site might have vacancies.
