Can a high backed booster seat go in a front seat with an air bag?

I've found this site www.childcarseats.org.uk/types/index.htm which implies that they can but they are safer in the back.

Small children really shouldn't go in the front with an airbag - even with the seat pushed right back it's risky.

Airbags deploy at c.200mph

Airbags kill small adults pretty regularly. They're not at all safe for small people of any age.
