Trying to find a cheapish package deal to Corfu (or similar) ...

... for myself, DP and our two DDs aged six and two.

Would consider going before school breaks up on 20th July (but prefer not to)and have been told that Corfu is a good option for a family.

Can anyone recommend a decent hotel or apartments, ideally close to a town centre/beach.

I've never been to Greece and have no idea what I'm looking for, plus there are so many deals out there right now it's hard to klnow where to begin!

Thanks in advance!

What type of budget do you have?

mintymellons · 22/06/2012 11:43

Sorry, good question!

Well, we weren't going to have a hol this year as just had bathroom done so no spare cash really. However, the weather's so crap here I'm thinking we NEED to get away.

so, budget is limited really - say max £1500

Have a look at the website called Travel Republic. Their prices are quite competitive.

Thank you, will do.

Also try onthebeach.co.uk, they are good prices and you can book budget airlines and hotels as a package so abta protected. Also, the hotel prices shown are per adult, you don't pay for the kids. Have been the last few years with them and have always been happy. We are going to roda beach in Corfu this year and can't wait.

Great, thanks, I'll look at that too!

I would look at travel republic and onthebeach.

Have heard good things about both and we are going to use them for our next hol.

I adore Corfu but take plenty of mozzie repellant.
