Hi there,

My family and I (dh, dts - 3yrs and ds1 - 5yrs)are going out to PN in March. We are staying at the Portonova Apts.

I am looking for some good places to take kids for food, entertainment, etc.

Can you recommend.

There's anice mini golf club in Palmanova. Capucino at the promenade serves really good quality coffees (Froccacino is my favourite) and lovely food.

P.S. For a lovely, children friendly and above all, somewhat quiet (not overcrowded) beach try Portal Vells.

portonova are right at the start of palma nova- its nice down there as there is a small marina which is really pretty, IIRC- there is a large chinese restaurant right next to portonova which every time i have been in there- has had Nicky Clarke ( the hairdresser to the stars!) sat in there, the food is lovely in there and as its so big it has lots of space for the kids to run around without getting in anybodies way.

not far from there is GOLF FANTASIA, which is a 54 hole crazy golf course, all set in beautiful grounds with waterfalls/caves etc, my kids love it in there, you could spend the whole afternoon there.

because its march. most of the entertainment will be hotel based, I remember quite clearly that outside all of the hotels along the front, they have boards promoting the enterainment for that evening ( parrot shows/ magicians and live acts), the hotels welcome people in to watch the shows as obviously you will be buying from thier bar!

further into palma nova is a restaurant called EL MECCA which has good food and a really friendly atmosphere, they welcome kids in there and the food is reasonably priced too, of an evening they have a bloke on a keyboard ( which sounds mad, but its good fun as he creates a good, fun atmosphere)

all along the front promenade in palma nova are lots of really friendly family restaurants, i dont really think that you will find anywhere there taht wont welcome you and the family.

further along the road out of palma nova- towards portals nous is MARINELAND, which has a dolpinarium, parrot show etc and is good for families.

ill try and remember some other things for you!!
