Hi has anyone been to Tunisia recently if so what currency did you take? I can't remember what I took last time as was so long ago! I know you can't get their currency til you're in Tunisia. I'm torn between taking all English currency and just changing what I need to save getting charges on travellers cheques, or being safer and taking travellers cheques??

we took some English currency and some sterling travellers cheques. Using sterling travellers cheques meant we didnt lose out when changing them back when we got home.

I would take travellers cheques. If you run out you can take money out at a cashpoint

Ok great thanks that's what I will do then. There's no visa either is there? Just a form to fill in on the plane?
