Ok, because i appear not to beable to come to a decision on my own, I thought id ask you lovely people to help Grin

I very luckly have been offered by someone who has come into money to take my 3 year old ds on an amazing holiday so Disneyworld it is. The problem i have is do we go to Florida or the LA one.
The reason im asking is he will love Seaworld as well and i know they now have Legland in Florida but they dont have "Disney Cars World" and his favourite thing ever is Disney Cars.

So what would you do? give up on Seaworld and Legoland and go to Cars world or go to Florida and not Cars world.

Also I have been given the opp to swim with the Dolphins in Discovery Cover, but him being 3 is not allowed does anyone know if he would still be allowed to touch them etc but without the swim or shall I just give up on that idea? (I have sawm with dolphins before just never in Florida)

Loads of questions but hopefully someone who has been will be able to throw me some ideas or the right direction to take...

Thank you

Disney Cars World opens at Disneyland's California Adventure park in Anaheim on June 15th so would check online to see what it is like after opening.

There is both Sea World and Legoland in California but these are both located near San Diego.

Children need to be at least 6 years old to swim with the dolphins, would give DC a miss for now as there is not much for very young children to do there. You can do day packages to DC without the dolphin swim included.

I'd go for Florida as Calfornia will be a very long flight for a 3 year old.

Agree with Attila about Discovery cove. Min age is 6 and not really much to do until then.

Lightning Mcqueen and Mater are at Hollywood studios in Orlando to have photos with, that would more than satisfy your DS, if you stay at Art of animation they have a cars section that opens soon too.
I love Orlando, we've just got back from a fortnight staying at Disney's Old key west resort, we didn't do Discovery cove, it's far too expensive imo, but we swam with (small) sharks at Typhoon lagoon, that was good.
You can get close to Dolphins and stingrays at Seaworld and the shows are amazing.

I think Florida is fantastic , don't think I've ever heard anyone go there and not enjoy it , hope you have a fab time wherever you end up x

The art of animation resort looks incredible for those with young children.

I have been to California, Florida and Paris and Florida is without a doubt the best. There are more parks - magic kingdom, animal kingdom, hollywood studios, epcot, sea world, universal...they seem to do everything better too.

Have a wonderful time!!

I did the swim thingy with dolphins at discovery cove and ds was able to come into the water (held by dh) and we had a family picture done with the dolphin in front of us.

Also got lovely pictures of ds with Lighning McQueen and mater, didnt have to line up for long either.
We love Florida, its fab (we are off there next April whoop whoop!!!)
