Looking for August 2013. Will have DS 13, DS 8 and DD 6.
We need a 3 bed mobile home, in and outdoor pool, table tennis and/or tennis.
Happy to book direct with campsite.
Nothing to loud - don't want an Italian version of Butlins !

We stayed in Garda last August, but didn't camp. Can I recommend that wherever you book you get aircon included because it is really stuffy at night at that time of year.

Hi Bunbaker. Where did you stay ? Am happy not to camp if cost is not excessive.
Thx

i have stayed at camping eden near Salo.

really lovely views, bit of a hill to get to the top of the site to the second pool.

the site isnt very big, but salo has an amazing market for food etc.
also took the ferry over to malacine and got on the cable car to the top of the mountain.

went to gardaland. took about an hour. that was fun. would go there again

We stayed here. It isn't a luxury hotel, but the staff were wonderful. It is a family run hotel and we were made to feel as if we were staying in a 5 star hotel.

The only reservation I have is that the swimming pool is quite deep, even at the shallow end so wouldn't be suitable for small children or non swimmers. You wouldn't need an indoor pool in August. Garda is pretty hot at that time of year. When we were there I don't think the daytime temperature dipped much below 30 degrees. The hotel also has table tennis and table football.

The area around Salo is nice.
