our plane does not arrive until 23.15 so we are stuck really as dont really want to start driving anywhere at that time of night. Does anyone have any experience of Nice/cote d'Azur airport-and might have an idea of somewhere not too expensive to kip for the night. 2 adults and 1 child. merci in advance!

Try these They are shown by distance to the airport, I guess if you go for a well known name like Holiday Inn you know what your going to get

Where are you headed Sorrel? Would it not be easier just to drive to your destination. At that time of night there will be very little traffic. There are lots of hotels close to the airport. Reliable, standard easy ones that are close are: the Novotel, Campanille & Ibis.
I know that area quite well, have been going there every year for about 18 years. Let me know where you are going & I can probably give you an idea of how long it will take to drive there.

hi bubblerock and bugsy2- thanks for the suggestions- i will see if i can a dealwith any of those
Bugsy- we are going up to Castellane to do some white water rafting( midlife crisis/40th birthday). It will probably be only an 1-2 hour drive, but our hotel there is going to be hard to find/will have sleepy 9yr old with us and i thought i could save a days car-hire by getting the car the following day.
Also sort of wanted the drive to be interesting-i know we will be going through some amazing scenery-Gorge de verdon etc- seems a waste to do it in the dark in a state of tiredness and possible stress!
