Recommendations of one-night stopovers in Britanny

We are staying in Southern Britanny in July. We have three days at the end of the trip for which we have not yet booked anything as we want to work our way slowly back up to St Malo. Could be straight up or could be around the coast.
We have a 5 and 6 yr old. Can anyone suggest any good places to stay? Was going to look at Sawdays but also would love to hear of any gems

My geography is very poor so forgive me if this is north of St Malo but Benodet is a lovely small seaside town with nice hotels.

you could spend some days in st malo?

I can highly recommend Benodet (I have family near there) and have spent many holidays there. We've stayed at the Hotel Ker-Moor a couple of times which overlooks the beach & also has a pool, so good for the kids.

I've also stayed at the Hotel de la Pointe in Cap Coz a few times, excellent restaurant and again overlooks the sea. I'm not sure if it's terribly kid friendly though as we went there before having DS.
