Flying with Easyjet - carseat question

We're going to Majorca in August, flying with Easyjet (unfortunately!). I'm just looking into the car hire and all the companies are charging about 50 euros per booster seat for the fortnight...and as I have 3 DDs who all need boosters, this is bumping the cost up somewhat!

I've had a look at the Easyjet website and it looks like each child can take a carseat on the plane with them free of charge...has anyone done this with booster seats on easyjet? I'm slightly sceptical that Easyjet will do anything for free - but if this is allowed, I'm going to buy 3 cheap seats from Halfords to take with us!

We fly with easyjet relatively frequently and always take a booster seat for free. When you check in just say how many bags you have to check in plus number of car seats. They will tag them up and ask you to take them to outsize baggage area but you should get the service for free.

Yes, they do take car seats free, but have you seen these have got one for DD and they're great! Plus, they're hand luggage size, so you can put toys etc in the backpack part for the journey.

Yes its no problem to take booster seats and if they damage them they will send you a nice new one for free

Great - thanks all. Will book the car now and save myself 150 euros!
