Want sunshine with 15mo in Nov

Hi, me and DP desperately need a holiday in the sun but can't take one til November. Just wondering if people have recommendations. We're both fairly adventurous travellers, so would prefer something not too resorty but equally don't want to expose DD to too many risks (e.g dysentery or dengue).

Thanks for advice! X

Barbados - Turtle Beach hotel on the South Coast is lovely. All-inclusive, but high standard of food and accommodation, and smaller and more family-friendly than some of the other AI hotels. A good kids club/nursery/baby-sitting (not listening) service as well, if you need it.

It is a bit resorty, inevitably, but there's nothing to say that you have to stay in the hotel/sit by the pool all day! And Barbados is a beautiful island with lots to see/do. And very safe from a medical point of view.

Thanks BIW. Not sure an all inclusive is quite right for us. Just to say, I'm not saying we wouldn't travel to places where there are health risks, just want to know we can manage them. E.g we were thinking maybe Mexico or Thailand. Thoughts anyone?

Nothing wrong with AI ...

Why wouldn't it be right for you? (Just wondering, genuine question!)

Have you thought of Oman? The weather should be great there in November. I would suggest Dubai, but it might be a bit resorty for you.

BIW Just like to eat in different places and get out into the community a bit more, esp as DP is vegan and hotel food is sometimes a bit limited. But hear you that venturing out is possible. :)

issima and matey thanks for the tips.
