Hi
We'd like to dubai in the next few weeks ... Would you recommend it? X

it will be very very hot and humid, check the temperatures on line first

It will be very very hot. I used to live in the ME and from around end of May it was very uncomfortable being outside. Of course the malls are all airconditioned but it won't be too pleasant out and about. Water parks will help you cool of but you'll have to be very careful with your little one. Do you have to go in June?

Thank you guys it's the only time husband can get off.... He hasn't had any time off in a year or a holiday in 3years... Can you recommend anywhere else?
We've been Dubai thought ideal as its clean supermarkets are close by x

Hmm difficult one. Sitting typing hearing the bloody rain pouring onto the conservatory roof I'd say 'sod it' and go to Dubai but only you know how your little one will be in the heat. Were there any hotels in particular you were thinking of? One of the ones with/near a waterpark might be sensible so you can at least cool off.

Other options I suppose are somewhere in the med but no recommendations unfortunately. Or, how about Florida? That should be lovely in June. I often used to go then but am tied to damm school hols now. Don't necessarily have to do the Disney thing, could go to the Keys or Tampa/St Petes.

yes go!!! dubai is great for kids, yes its hot but everywhere has ac and so much for babies and kids, my dd is 7 now and been going dubai since she was a newborn as my parents live there, my brother and his wife also live there and have a nearly 3 year old and a 6 month old and they survive lol

why do you need to go so far - Portugal, Spain, Italy all gorgeous at this time of year and quiet too before the high summer rush

We went to dubai en route to Australia when we emigrated. It was july and too hot. 50odd degrees. Made it quite unpleasant to be outside. Wouldn't go at that time of year again through choice. As others have said if you can go soon then areas of Portugal etc all have lovely places.
