Hi, DP, DS (3 in Sept) and I usually holiday at Thomson family resorts ( Menorca once, Majorca 3 times) however eould like to broaden horizon a wee bit. PP is recommended but struggling with accom. Everywhere looks fab online but know that it may not truly be the case! Toddler pool would be nice. Flexible for either a hotel or apartment. Any recommendations appreciated. Thanks!

Look up bellesreguard apartments in pine walk. Stayed there last year and going again this year! I think it is one of the circe or sangrilla appartments. Good sized pool and across the road from pine walk and the beach. Have a look on www.puertopollensa.com lots of info and can also access the forum which has accommodation as a topic

We stayed at the playa mar aparthotel last year with our two kids who were 2 and 6 then. Great facilities, great food, pools good. A Thomson family resort so all English. Puerto Pollensa is stunning. We're going again this summer but are staying in a villa, had enough of getting up at 6am to get a sun lounger.

It depends what you want. We stayed in Pollensa itself ( old town) and drove to PP for the beach. I wouldn't want to stay anywhere near Pine Walk as too busy and commercialised- but if you want to walk out of the door to the beach then it may suit you- we went as a couple, no kids with us.

Other options are villas in the surrounding area- but you'd need a car.
