Hi

i am currently saving to go to lapland this year with DH and dds aged 5 and 7.

I do not want to book yet as prices keep going down- a 4 day trip with Thomson has gone from £2800 last month to £2150 today! Last Nov when i compared prices a 4 day trip was going for around £1700 a month or so before.

I do have a couple of Q's please for those who have been:

  • When did you book and how much did you pay !(sorry Blush i know its terribly nosey but cant work out whether to book now - currently i'm saving the cash! I am flexible as i've booked a 2.5 week block off work in Dec and i'll take kids out of school for the couple of days needed
  • did the kids enjoy it?!! Its so much money and we are having to really save hard to find the money for lapland. My kids are used to Majorca all-inclusive style holidays where days revolve around lilos in the pool and the kids disco! My DH is less keen and thinks we should spend the cash we have saved on a week in Majorca in July. However we have recently been abroad on a package holiday in the sun so feel we can do something different.

Any help would be appreciated! Thanks
