Jubilee Street Parties / picnics / celebrations near NW8 or an hours drive away

Hi,

I'm looking for any hints on where people think there will be events suitable for young children for the Jubilee weekend? I'm not sure about taking them into the city as the crowds might be too much.

There's a lot going on around the Twickenham/ St Margaret's area this weekend. Pony rides and the like tomorrow by the river in Twickenham I think and then a street party/ fair on Sunday. Depending on where you are in NW8 you might be able to get the overland to Richmond and walk to Twickenham/ St Margarets.
