disneyland paris - restaurant booking and half board deal & getting from train station

I am completely confused and almost driven mad by hideous Disney website which seems only to cater to people who are unable to travel independently of Disney.

Staying in a disney hotel. Have booked half board deal. Do we need to book for an evening meal in the buffet restaurant or can we just stroll in? We are arriving quite late and do not want to be messing around waiting for a table after long journey with tired DCs. (Its next week during half term so guess it will be busy).

Also how do you get from the train station to the hotel without paying £16 for them to take your bags. We are not getting a disney train - just RER from centre of paris. Can we check into hotel at the station and get a shuttle bus or do we have to walk to hotel first.

Which hotel are you staying in? You can get a shuttle bus to the hotel from outside the station, unless you're in the Disneyland hotel on the park entrance then you'll need to walk.

As for evening meal, there are lots of options both in the hotels and in the Disney Village. If you do have trouble in your own hotel restaurant, the concierge desk will find you somewhere to eat. normally you wouldn't have any trouble in your own hotel restaurant though, but I do know that most of the hotels are fully booked next week.

You can reserve a table at any of the restaurants -if you are going during half term you should def do this as restaurants very busy this week.

There are shuttles to and from the parks.
Try this website www.dlrpmagic.com loads of planning information and the table reservations phone number is on it too.
