Weaning 8 month old in Turkey

What do people think we can & can't give our daughter in Turkey?

Were in an all inclusive and were intending to give her a mixture of formula, ella's kitchen pouches and food from the hotel.

However a family member said we should only give her food from the UK?

Any advise is appreciated.

Gavin

I think just be sensible about it - bread fine, hard cheese fine, freshly cooked veg, pasta etc., ditto, but steer clear of salads, washed fruits, soft cheeses, ice, water or anything that looks as though it has been sitting around for a while. If you do need to give water, check the sodium content before doing so - some mineral waters can have surprisingly high levels of sodium.

Unless she's a sickly baby, then you should be fine. If she is prone to intolerances or is regularly ill then maybe double-check with your GP what's best.

Have a lovely holiday.
