We are off to clubmed Palmiye in a weeks time.Dc are 11 and nearly4.
We have never been on an all inclusive holiday before and never been to Club med or Turkey.
What do you take apart from clothes,Sun protection and Euros?
Do you go on any excursions? HEiropolis and Necropolis looks very appealing.I think myself and my older Dc would like it? Is worthwhile or should we not bother?DH booked it as a special holiday,I looked at the website and read reviews here and agreed it.But am getting worried now .

If you are going to Turkey you don't want euros, you will need Turkish lira, although it is better to change your money over there as you get a better rate.

Clubmed Palmiye is in Antalya I believe? I haven't been to that part of Turkey but I used to live in Bodrum. I love Turkey, I'm sure you will have a great time.

What are you worried about?

We are off to Palmiyie on Tuesday and am very excited! Started packing already (sad I know!) We haven't been to Palmiyie before but have been to Beldi last year and loved it... we didn't go on any excursions but they looked great. What are you worried about? x

I know it is silly, getting worried about this. It is just we haven't been anywhere like this before and things like what you wear etc., worries me. I am planning to take few shorts, linen trousers , swim suit for all of us.
Anything else I should pack?

I just wear swim stuff and beachy clothes during the day time but you can dress up in the evening... I take dresses for me in the evening but my husband just wears t shirts and shorts! Make sure you take enough sun lotion as it can be expensive to buy out there, I take paracetamol for us and kids calpol etc, no towels as they provide them, a couple of pairs of shoes for evening and flip flops for day! Lots of books or kindle for reading! Any other questions just ask!

Do you book the activities for children before you leave _ my 11 dc would like to do tennis, sailing and circus skills. Is it wise to restrict her with one or two activities?
The younger one will be with us most of the time and may be in the club if we both fancy doing something like snorkelling .

We don't pre book anything, our kids are happy to go to club and try all the activities, they are 5 and 8, but there is normally room for them to do what they like if they fancy trying something out. Our son, 8, loved trapeze and is good at tennis and often we have gone to pick the up from club and they have wanted to stay with their new friends!
