Suggestions for mid range hotel with 1 Yr Old - France/Italy

Desperately looking to go to a hotel in April/May where we can relax, within 3 hours flying of UK, with creche facilities for a 1 year old.

Vila Vita Parc and other £££ hotels are too pricey, but the ££ suggestioons here all seem to be 'clubs' which we dont really fancy.

Any suggestons?

I know you said France/Italy but if you are willing to try Austria have a look at www.kinderhotels.com (in english) all have childcare.

Actually there are a couple of hotels in Italy on that website as well.
