Hi i am posting this on longhaul & short as egypt is classed as midhaul and there isnt a option for mid...

Has only else ever travelled to egypt to toddler around same age? Few questions...

How did you find the flight?
How was your little on with the heat?
How did you find lunch & tea time?
Did you manage to buy branded nappies?

If anyone can help with any of my questions it would be a great help :)

Thank you

Abby x

We've been to egypt twice - the first of which was when DD was 26 months which made the flight a little easier as she had her own seat. She watched DVD's on her DVD player and we had sticker books etc to kep her occupied. Heat was fine (although we went in our winter months so not too hot) - we would just keep her out of the sun from 12-3 and she wore UV suits and hats and had a blast the rest of the time playing on the beach and in the water.

We had lunch at usual time (1pm) and then she would have a snack at around 4.30 and then have a nap so we'd have dinner a little later than normal - around 7.30 and bed was around 11pm. We have never felt the need to keep to a strict routine whilst on holiday ( that's what holidays are for) and have had no problems with her adapting or falling back into her normal routine when we've gone home.

We took enough nappies for our stay - it was one less thing to worry about whilst there.
