Hi,
We're driving to France for. 2 week holiday soon & I can't decide whether to take a load of nappies & food pouches with me or to buy it all there. Does anyone know whether baby stuff is generally cheaper or more expensive in France?

Don't know about baby food as have never bought it but nappies are more expensive, especially the big brands.

This website should help

Did you know you can buy nappies on Amazon? I've just looked and you can get a Giga pack (!!) of 152 size 4 nappies delivered free for £22!!! £12 for a jumbo pack of 78 in Tescos at the moment. Or, 21 euros (£17ish) in Carrefour for 50). I really need to get a hobby...

I cant remember the cost of baby food as my DS is 4 now (we go to France every year) but the supermarkets have a huge fantastic range of babyfood!

Thanks all for your replies. The French supermarket website is interesting. Blimey! Even on offer, the Huggies one which DS wears are more expensive so I will be cramming as many in to the car as possible.

And don't forget swim nappies they are even more! Food is not too badly priced, but is more long life jars than Ella's type pouches. Although- and this is what you fill your car up with on the way home. - fruit pouches, are v cheap and lovely, we buy pomme pots, literally about 7 euro for a crate of 40 them compared with the price here. My 2 year old still loves to snack on them! Grin have fun.

Agree with this but long life baby foods
Nicer than here. Pom pot comes in two versions As normal one has sugar in.

On amazon you can subscribe and save too and get 10% off if you say you want them however often if you don't need them the next time you just skip the delivery.
