We're off to Turkey soon and although going AI will need some spending money for extras, is it best to get Turkish Lira or Euros?! X

If you will be going on any excursions to tourist places, you might find both are accepted. I'd say if you have any euros from a previous holiday take them, but have some Turkish lira as well.

In my experience, both are accepted. I took leftover Euros I had and a few lira.

Ok I'll have a look at the exchange rate as we have some Lira from last year but if the exchange rate is better on the Euro maybe I'll get some of that too?

For small items it is best to use lira otherwise take sterling as you can use that for buying clothes, bags etc. and for trips.

Don't bother with Euros they will convert them into lira and you wont get a good exchange rate.
