...dd has chicken pox. she's been ill for a couple of days, but the spots came out today. ds hasn't caught it yet.

and we're supposed to be flying to the uk next thurs. If i have to I can fly with just dd, and dh can look after ds. obviously it would be better if all of us could come though.

this is what ryanair have to say

is there any chance we can go or shall I just cancel the flights now do you think? bear in mind this is ryanair so I will not get a great deal by cancelling, but could book our next hol or something.

I am SO dissapointed. it's for a family wedding and I was really looking forward to it. so was dd. ds probably was, but he can't tell me yet.

Lovely news about the pregnancy SP, big congrats, rotten news about the CP.

So, shoot me - if it means so much to you all (and it would to me I know), is it at ALL do-able to get up to Santander/Bilbao and go by less fussy ferry?

SenoraPostrophe · 17/02/2006 12:06

I hadn't thought of the ferry, but a 12 hour drive followed by a 2 day ferry and a 6 hour driv at the other end is probably going to mean too much time off work for dh. I'll ask him though.

You can tell I have not been to Spain...train a possibility?

mszebra · 17/02/2006 13:47

man if it was me I'd take 'em both on the airplane anyway, use a little makeup base to cover up any spots on the face.
