Any suggestions for nice spa hotels in central Scotland? Need to book asap for couple of people who are totally burnt out and would love to visit Scotland. Any ideas greatfully received, thanks.

Cameron house has a lovely spa. Or the Sheraton in Edinburgh if you'd prefer a city.

cairnterrier · 14/05/2012 20:29

Gleneagles? What is the budget?

Blytheswood hotel in Glasgow often has really good spa deals.

carrotsandcelery · 14/05/2012 20:37

Fairmont, St Andrews Bay Hotel, have a lovely spa if your budget is up to it.

Auchrannie on the Isle of Arran is lovely

Thank you. Budget around about £200 per person for 2 nights- I know it can be done for this price its just finding availability for this coming weekend. Going nuts, been trying for hours to find something suitable.

It can be done but you need to find the special offer/deals. I don't know how to do that. I will have a hunt around.

BrassMonk · 14/05/2012 21:26

carrotsandcelery · 14/05/2012 21:39

Does it have to be a hotel? Piperdam resort is lovely (although is mainly golfy) but a log cabin for 2 has a private hot tub and the main centre has a spa. piperdam

Can't see avalibility on their website, but have seen if you book through Hoseasons It is £349 for 2 people for 3 nights. Not sure if this is any good as not actually a hotel?

habbibu · 15/05/2012 12:54

Any of these any good? Searched the MacDonald hotels website, if the link doesn't work.

Prizepudding · 15/05/2012 21:08

The link carrotsandcelery provided is good, we booked a great weekend in Aberdeen after seeing the deal on there. Have you checked Norton house or Airth Castle? Both lovely.

lucidlady · 15/05/2012 21:11

Try Dalhousie Castle - amazing aqueous spa. It's just outside Edinburgh.

GlaikitFizzog · 15/05/2012 21:26

Mariott Dalmahoy just outside Edinburgh is fabulous. As is Stobo castle. There is the Peebles Hydro, but I've not stayed there only had a day spa.

Where do you want to be near? For £400 you can come here, where I can offer our spare room, with mud treatment by DS in our back garden and a roll down the hill massage!

If you need someone to look into everything for you, then TripFinders.net is great. They will find what you want - guaranteed.

PatriciaHolm · 16/05/2012 13:25

Have you tried Laterooms.com? Worth a try.

gregssausageroll · 16/05/2012 21:22

There are a couple on last minute. One in Edinburgh and te other in stirling.

Jenstar21 · 16/05/2012 21:43

How about the Stirling Highland Hotel, or Westerwoods Golf and Spa Hotel near Cumbernauld? Both are more your budget. You won't get Stobo, Sheraton, St Andrews Bay or Gleneagles for that price. :( Westerwoods is not near anywhere nice, but is a nice enough place for spa/relaxing....
