Seriously considering this campsite in August.
Anyone been, is it good?
We are 5 people, me. dh. dd1 (7) and dts (3).
Planning on driving and have experience of this so quite happy with this part of the plan!

We have been a couple of times. It is a very nice campsite - good swimming pool; lake with pedalos and picnic benches; good little shop for croissants etc. We have had many holidays in the Loire Valley and this was our favourite location. It is very close to Chaumont which is gorgeous - a real fairytale chateau. I'd definitely go for it!

We have been here 3 times and my kids are always nagging us to go back. It ticks all the things that are important to me, logical layout, well lifeguarded pool, day and evening entertainment. Also really lovely area, recommend a visit to chambord, and also amboise.

We have stayed there. Had a lovely holiday! The site is really quite small and perfect for a family holiday. Nice mixture of people. My children enjoyed the evening entertainment but it was easy to avoid if you prefer. Lots of space around mobiles as well as a fenced off lake and some nice playgrounds. The lifeguards on all siblu sites are great but on this site the outdoor pool is freezing(not heated) so we stuck to the heated covered pool. Lovely area but not so good with chiildren when it rains nearly everyday of your weeks holiday in August!
