Mexico.. anyone been? good for kids?

was planning on going to Florida next Easter but the cost is getting ridiculous.

Have now looked at Oct half term for 2 weeks in Mexico.
Maybe the ClubHotel Riu Tequila in Playacar or Riu Yucatan in Playacar.
its all inclusive and comes to £4k for 4 of us.
I think thats agood price but ive never been to mexico and was wondering what its like. my kids are 12 +9

In a word - great. Playa Car is a super resort and if you pick your hotel well there'll be loads on for children. Also if you are adventurous sorts you can take a flight to Chichen Itza which is something else!
