Which Company/Resort etc... Mark Warner or Neilson?

Hello.
I am wanting to book a holiday for me and hubby + a 15 month old. I was told Mark Warner is the way to go and their 5 star resorts in Greece, one old Helona or their new Lavente Beach would be good?
Lots of other people are recommending Neilson saying Mark Warner is shabby?
I really want some luxury or at least a nice hotel, kids club for toddler and some evening childcare.
I want relaxation and do not want lots of activities just the childcare aspect. Like the half day option with Mark Warner as get to spend am with Toddler.
Due to very unfortunate leave allowance for my hubby we have to go in School holidays - August?
So bearing all this in mind what do people recommend or think? Has anyone done Club Med? What are they like?
thanks all :-)

I did Mark Warner when my DC were toddlers. The hotels are not luxury in the decor sense but laying on my lounger all morning whilst my toddlers were being entertained definitely was.

Have only done Club med so can't compare to the others but great childcare facilities depending on how easy your child finds those situations, ie are they used to nursery and also language could be an isue, although our daughter didn't speak a word of French and she was 3 when she first went, apart from the odd clingyness at drop off she loved as did we...
Each resort is different on level of luxury.. some are not that amazing on decor/bedrooms but make up for it in superb food and atmosphere.
I would imagine if you are going in school holidays there will be plenty of english so language should be less of a problem with your little one... we have never had an issue and have travelled during half term holidays.

Hi, haven't done mark warner only neilson which has been fantastic. You can use the childcare as much or as little as you want - you just sign your child in or out when you want to. However with neilson for under 2s you do have to pay extra for the childcare (think its about £230 per week, check on website) so it may be worth checking club med/mark warner to see if you have to pay there for under 2s childcare. Over 2s childcare are free with neilson. Accommodation is not luxury. Evening childcare - I know its available for 2-4 year olds but not sure about under 2s - again check. So basically - I would check with all of them the additional cost of under 2s childcare and what they provide in the evening. NB will be v hot in August if you go to Greece/Turkey etc

have a great time wherever you go!

I did Greece with Neilson's twice when DS was a toddler. They were fantastic.
