London hotel near euston station

Can anyone recommend a hotel near euston station, we (2 kids,husband and I) are looking to stay for 1 night in October.

I know it sounds bizarre but travelodge is meant to be ok. I know people who use it as cheap place to stay when in town

Euston plaza is nice.

Russell square is good for hotels and about a 15 minute walk from the station (longer depending on age of children I guess!)
