Hi there we are looking to book up for next Easter. Never been before, DS will be 7 so a good age to go. We have to do flights and accomodation inclusive because can't seem to get flight only from Glasgow.

The villas look lovely and are roughly the same price as condos, but am wondering as DS is an only if it might be better to do a condo so we have a shared pool and also means I don't have to cook every night.

We will be booking through Thomas Cook or Direct Holidays so unfortunately kind of tied into whatever they offer so mainstream recommendations for accomodation welcome.

You'd better hurry up and book, there was thread a few days ago about Easter booking up already. We normally book 11 months in advance (as soon as flights released) to get the dates we want and also the cheaper prices and flights tend to go up nearer time of departure.

I'm suprised you can't do flight only from Glasgow, are you really sure about that?

Personally I'd say villa for the space, and peace and quiet and of course the fact that you don't have to fight over sun loungers by the pool. I do however understand that quite a lot of people prefer going where there will be other children so hopefully your DS can make some friends.

Have loads of recommendations for villas but if you are booking a package, you won't get as much choice. With regards to a complex, years ago we stayed at the Sheraton Vistana by lake buenavista and that was lovely.

Resort condo all the way, a villa is isolated and your ds will have a much better time at a resort with great kids facilites.

HI Malificence and MOS. We have the flights went for United direct from Edinburgh via Newark in the end and I am terribly excited. i have found a resort condo that is 5 mins drive from Disney has a heated shared pool ( that I don't have to pay extra for) is within walking distance of restaurants and shops and is pretty cheap.

Should I look around at others or just go for it ?

We love love love Sheraton Vistana Villages on the quiet end of I Drive (about 2 mins drive from Seaworld). You can have a one or two bed apartment with a full working kitchen. Supermarket just down the road so you can stock up for breakfast/snack things - we eat out every night, but is handy to have a kitchen to make snacks and also to have a fridge for your beers when you need to relax after a busy day.

Ah!! I see MOS has stayed at another of the Sheraton resorts Grin

Just checked out the Sheraton Vistana Villages - slightly pricier than the option I was looking at but they do look lovely !
