hi we've decided to go away next summer with some friends - 4adults and 5 young children can anyone recommend a fab 4bed villa with pool? Ideally in Italian lakes or tuscany but other areas too??
thanks

Have a look at Simpson Travel (or Simson travel- can't remember the spelling)
We have had several villa holidays with the company and have never been disappointed.

They do lots of villas with private pools and if you are looking for next summer (2013) you will have plenty of time to do the research now and book early!
Good luck.

thanks marylou had a look but nothing on italy - although corsica looks nice!!! We like italy mainly because along with being v beautiful it is so easy with the kids - always nice restaurants/friendly people etc....and we can get the train there as getting DH on a plane is a really tough job!!!
Any other ideas??

this one is beautiful, from personal experience. And its very big, close to lucca.

My mum has used this one and said it was divine.

HI we went away with 6 adults and 4 kids to 4 bed villa with pool in Umbria 2 years ago. We still talk about what a fab holiday it was. THE villa was called Bellona di Sotto, it was near Perugia, close to the lakes.

The villa had several sitting areas so you could have some space and didn't need to sit with each other all the time. They had kids toys, games jigsaws, internet access. Loggia for the evenings. Oh I want to go again.

I'm rubbish at links but if you google it it's with Tuscany Now.

We found some great places on Owners Direct.
We're going to Lucca this summer with 2 other couples and six kids, so where we are staying might be too large (6 beds/baths)

notcitrus · 13/05/2012 15:15

James Villas have some lovely places in Italy. Only stayed in larger ones but Umbria near Perugia is good value.

thestringcheesemassacre 6beds is exactly what we need so can you let me know where you are going? We've stayed near Lucca before and it was fantastic! notcitrus am going to look at umbria thanks! Our budget is about £3000 for the week total so tuscany and the lakes are proving a bit pricey!!

Stump

www.casailgobbo.com/

we booked it through owners direct and the owner has been great.

We got it for exactly 3000 euros for week of 21st July.
We've not stayed yet so obviously I can't endorse it completely but looks bloody lovely.

A 4-bedroom villa with pool for two families in Tuscany?

See this elegant hilltop liberty-style residence in the hills around Lucca.
4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, completely fenced park:

This thread is from 2012Hmm

PaolaC71 · 27/05/2014 19:53

The villa above costs Euro 2000 per week (owner's price).

Tinkerball · 27/05/2014 20:21

Are you using an old thread to advertise your own villa?

chillismum · 28/05/2014 08:12

We have a house in Le Marche (an hour from Ancona) that we let out in the summer. It has 5 bedrooms and a pool, very private . We let it through one of the big child friendly websites but as they chaarge commission and vat on the whole lot it is a lot cheaper if you go direct. I don't know if I am allowed post a website address here? We also belong to a cooperative group of house owners in Le Marche where we pool marketing resources in order to bring our properties directly to the clients without involving agencies. marcheownersdirect.com (my house is Casa Colomba)

..as I pointed out yesterday, this thread is from 2012! That being said I too would recommend Le Marche Grin
