Has any one used a car seat on EasyJet? Need advice on size of seat.

Looking at flying with EasyJet this summer and since we'll be hiring a car at our destination, thought we might as well take our own car seat with us and get DD a seat of her own on the plane. But EJ says car seats should be no more than 42cm wide, and all the new ones I'm looking at seem to be a min of 46cm.

If you have flown with EJ and used a car seat, which specific seat/model did you use?

You are allowed two bAby items free of charge (cot, baby rucksack / prAm / car seat etc...)
When we ve taken the car seat, we ve usually checked it in.
Other thing we ve done is actually rent car seat with the car on arrival...

I haven't flown with EJ, but when we took at car seat on a flight, the only one we could find to fit within the 42cm guidelines was the Britax Eclipse.
