Is it a nice place to go ... and ... will it be warm enough to sunbathe/swim in the sea (for normal blooded people)?!

It'll be roasts toasty in July so make sure wherever you stay has air on. I've been loads of times, both per and with children and would always go back. Not been for about 6 years so I'd not like to advise on where to go

Ahem that would be air CON!

Snowstorm · 04/05/2012 17:47

Okay - thanks for that!

It will be around 30 degrees, gorgeous. I love it there but then I did live there as a kid so might be biassed.

So lovely and warm but not absolutely sweltering. Sounds good. Thank you!

I've been in August and it never gets as hot as the med because of the Atlantic breezes. Warm enough to swim in pools but the sea is not warm enough for my liking.

Make sure you go to the south of the island if you want to be sure of sun because the north can be very cloudy.
