Florida Parks

We're off to florida in a month. Just looking at park tickets. I have a 5, 8 and 12 yr old. Really want a combo ticket so we can do the Disney and Universal thing. Are they worth it? Would it be better to just get a 14 day disney pass and pay for a day at universal?
Has anyone been that could advise us please.

I have the same issue and I've been loads of times. DC now 18, 15, 5 and 3. We went 2 years ago and bought flextickets which gave unlimited entry for 14 days into Universal, Islands of Adventure, Seaworld, Aquatica (and I think one other but can't remember) We also then just bought a 1 day to Magic Kingdom as oldest DC had done it so many times and little ones would be happy just doing MK and not fussed about other Disney parks.

So so difficult. Wouldn't really recommend buying both the Disney ones and Universal/Flex as it would almost be a waste if that makes sense? If you are likely to go back again, it might be worth thinking about the Disney tickets that you can pay extra so they don't expire. Very expensive initially but if you will go a few times in the future might be worth it. That is what I'm thinking of doing this year. So difficult though as youngest will love MK and probably Animal Kingdom but they also love Islands of Adventure and also eldest two will want to go there again for the Harry Potter stuff.

If you've never been before, I'd probably say go with the Disney (after all, that is what Florida is famous for) and then maybe a one/two day ticket to Universal and Islands of Adventure. If only doing one of them I'd recommend IoA.

Have a look at Kissimmee Guest Services www.kgstickets.com/ we bought our tickets in advance from them last time and picked them up at 8am on our first day on our way to Magic Kingdom. Saves wasting time queuing up when you get there.

Hope you have a fab time

Thanks MOSagain.

No we've never been before and probably wont go again so want to get everything done whilst were there.

The best offer ive found is with Orlando ticket deals,
Unlimited access to disney parks, univeral studios and island of adventure for 14 days. £332 adults and £299 children. They will post real tickets out within 8 days. For us all its £1594 (ouch).

I'm sure it will be well worth every penny!

Have a great Holiday

We always get a 14 day ticket for Disney (as usually same price as a 7 day ticket) plus at least a 7 day for Universal.

You need more than a day at Universal ime. Last time we went DD spent more than half a day in the Harry Potter part of just one of the Universal parks alone.
