DLP - Hotel Santa Fe

My friend is staying at the Santa Fe at easter and although I have been twice to DLP I havent stayed at this hotel. Just wondered if there was any advice or hints and tips for this hotel specifically and also how far it is from the park?

we stayed at this one four years ago. it is quite far from the park, but still walkable along the river/canal bit(20 mins?), but i remeber we used the shuttle mostly as i was 8 months pg, this was very easy, just jump on and jump off and its free. i remeber it being very busy queues for breakfats and verry noisy in the canteen style dining room, but it was peak season so probably quiter at other times.

it was a pleasant enough hotel, nice rooms (two double beds), nice showers, clean, friendly staff, good facilities, bar, restaurant, play area etc.

My freind is just back from the Santa fe and she really liked it. Only 10 mins along a canal path to the parks and there is a handy garage nearby selling cheaper drinks, snacks etc. Restauarnt got very busy for breakfast unless you were there for 9am.
She's going back so it must be nice
