Thompson, Eurocamp, Canvas etc - which company would you recommend?

Booked a holiday to Italy in a few weeks - Venetian coast - and can't decide which operator to go with. When you look on Tripadvisor, there seem to be an equal number of people complaining about each one, as well as those who are coming out in favour of them. Any recommendations would be gratefully received!

we have used eurocamp, keycamp and canvas. thompson look much the same. they vary a bit depending on the site, so i would search on ukcampsites (not sure if it does italy). i get quotes from each and generally go with the cheapest. canvas had slightly bigger vans last time and also a dishwasher. on the last site the canvas and thompson had the best pitches, but this is not always the case. canvas didn't have a kids club which was a bit of a nuisance as we had to pay extra for football club. keycamp always struggled to get us across the channel at half term despite me provisionally booking before brochures come out. we don't like decking as takes too much of pitch up and gets in way of badminton net - hence not using thompson

so basically few pros and cons of both, but broadly not much different

does the site provide vans? this sometimes looks cheaper
