Suggestions for a birthday treat for my Sister

My Sisters husband has asked me for ideas that he can treat his wife to for her birthday.
I have suggested a few like pamper day, a holiday or a home cooked meal but he is not too keen on them. Does anyone have any other suggestions?

Can you give us more info on where they are and what she likes. Is she sporty? Into food? Art? Music or theatre?

Some people's idea of fun is rock climbing or Go Ape, other people would rather have a glass of champagne, a wander round gorgeous shops and a night at a West End show.

Depending on how much he wants to spend, he could do one of those steam train days with lunch included, or Eurostar to Paris and take her for lunch there.

DH once took me to a gallery of art he knew I'd love and then bought me a painting from the gallery as a Christmas present. It was a really gorgeous day out.

Thanks racingheart for your suggestions. They are in South London.
I will suggest the Eurostar trip, as I'm sure she would love that and when I suggested a holiday away, he said he can't take too many days off work.

I think the best gift for any person is Love. He should give time to her on that day. Everything can be bought but Love is something special which can't sell or purchase. So he should give him time, attention and Love on her birthday.
