London Dungeons anyone?

Have 2 free child tickets. Would still cost me £17.50 plus train fare. Both boys love scary things but cant be doing with loads of queuing. Has anyone been and is it worth it?

The queues are always massive. My BIL took his children and the 11 year old boy found the whole experience frightening (he had always enjoyed scary things too!). Think it depends very much on their ages. I would like to take DDs (7 and 10) but the youngest is not keen.

I found it terrifying

Very scary for little ones ie anyone under 40!!!

Paid £25 for the honour of having to take out 2 youngsters screaming they wanted to go home to their safe cottage!!

I've heard that it's way too scary. I'll be interested to see what other people say!

I found it really scary as a grown adult! I couldn't even go in the very scary tunnel bit. Very gory - torture type stuff but it's the dark atmospheric effects that get you. They say its for 8+ but I would say at least 12+ myself. My 10 year old would be out the door screaming!

Also - lots of queuing unless you get a fastrack ticket.

DH took DS1 and two of his friends there as an 11th birthday treat. One of the friends almost refused to go in the building but was fine once he was in there. They had a great time.

I wouldn't take kids.

there were MASSIVE queues outside during halfterm, we were walking past on our way to teh Unicorn Theatre...didn't seem worth the effort, those people must have been waiting all afternoon in showery weather

Did this have the scary show type but bit? We did a ton of tourist stuf last time in london.

If so, that was very scary, rest of it very average.
