steralizing bottles

My daughter will be 8 months old in June when myself & my wife are going to an ic in Turkey. I've worked out that I should take formula & use bottled water, but how do I go about steralizing the bottles?

Any advice is welcome.

Milton tablets in a bucket or sink.

HV advised me that only Evian should be used to make up formula - other brands are too salty for babies' digestive systems
You still need to boil it etc.

I buy a plastic box with lid from the £1 shop (can then fill it with pouches etc for travelling in suitcase) and then use milton tablets to cold water sterilize. We're going to Turkey with a 10 month old at the end of May so will be doing the same. A tip for making up bottles would be to take a flask and then fill it with boiling water from the urn for making tea in the restaurant (they use spring water ) and would can then use the hot water for making up bottles during the day.

I did what Hersetta said for sterilizing and then used Evian for making bottles.

is Evian the best water to sterilise the bottles in aswell? Off to spain with my 8 month old next month then Dubai the following month. First time abroad with her eeek

been travelling since my dd was 5 months to dubai (now 7 and been all over world, lived in oz etc) , always used mothercare microwavable sterilising bottles (2 mins in microwave, water goes in bottles lid) i use water from our cold water bottle machine (parents and brother lived here in dubai for 8 years)

My brothers 2 children were born here in dubai (i am here visiting my new nephew) now 2.5yrs and 4 months and they use the big water bottle machines as well to sterlise and then cooled boiled water (from machine), not sure if you are staying with someone? but if you are they will no doubt have a water bottle machine and hotels can provide you with local water (its called masafi) much cheaper than evian but same prinicpal

As others have said use a plastic box and some Milton tablets. You can use tap water as the Milton will strilise the water so it is uneccessary to use bottled water.

In Turkey the best water to use is Erikli, Nestle, Labranda or Pinar, they all have a low sodium content. I lived in Turkey and my DD drank Labranda all the time as did all the other children where I lived. I don't really remember seeing Evian.
