I have used opodo, kayak and www.cheapflights.co.uk and then double checked the deals on the company's website.

Skyscanner is useful.

I've also used Asda Travel and twice found them to be offering the best deals.

When looking at long haul, try to fly to a 'hub' as those flights usually work out cheaper.

Can I bump this looking for more ideas?
Thanks

Skyscanner. Although I found this week that the flights I was about to book with them went up by over £100 in 24 hours, whilst I was waiting for confirmation of something else before booking. Followed a link from there to the airline's own site (US Airways) and found cheaper options, as they had the facility for dd to qualify as a child (under 14) that Skyscanner didn't show.
