Best reasonable hotel nr Exeter?

Thinking of stopping over en route to Cornwall. Looking at Jurys, Premier Inn and Holiday Inns.

Anyone local got any advice please? Not wanting luxury for 1 night but clean and quiet!

The White hart pub in Exeter is lovely around £50 a night B&B plus good food offers and has a car park

You could push the boat and stay at the Combe House Hotel here

We've stayed in the Mecure in the town centre a few times. Has a nice indoor pool and food is good.

We really don't want to spend a lot- we are going to a lovely and quite £££ cottage so don't want to add on £150 for 1 night in a hotel.

Raffles is great. Walking distance from town centre. Off-road parking.

Yeah, Combe House is excessively special occasions only or when someone else is paying

There's a premier Inn opposite St David's Station. That'll be cheap.
