My DP booked me for a day in a spa in Henlow and im very pleased with that but i am wondering how he will manage a full day with the two DSs (3.5 and 2) in a place he doesnt know...

any suggestions for kids-friendly restaurants/pubs for lunch, and activities, parks, attractions, museums etc...

Many thanks

Whipsnade Zoo (Dunstable)
Willows (St A - get local paper enroute to get a free entry voucher for your dh)
There are soft play places but they are hugely busy and horrible for little ones IMHO at weekends. If you wanted them there is Space2Play in Hitchin, Snakes and Ladders at Houghton Regis, and a huge new one in Stevenage, amongst oths.

Transport Museum in Lower Stondon. Museums in Hitchin and Letchworth. Space2Play is great. Stockwood Discovery Centre in Luton, Knebworth House, Shepreth Wildlife Park.

Also Woburn.

Wouldn't take long to get to Milton Keynes from there too.
