Drayton Manor - any rides for younger dc (7 + 4) outside Thomas Land?

We are off to Drayton Manor soon (a much anticipated Christmas present from the lovely FIL). Both ds will love Thomasland, I think, but I wondered if there were other rides people would recommend in the rest of the park? They are both scared of big rollercoasters, but they liked things like Viking splash at legoland last year...ds2 is train obsessed...any ideas?

There's the Pirate Adventure, which is like a little indoor boat ride with pirate scenes. There's another boat thing which takes you through a camelot type world. There's a little train that takes you round the park.
There's a soft play area- this is linked to thomas land, but just outside it I think. On the other side of the park (which thomas can take you to!) there is a little farm, and it has a play area- like a park, with slides and stuff. I'm trying to remember what else- there's definitely a carousel.
They also have the zoo- I'm not a big fan myself, I'm not convinced the animals have a lot of space- but my children seem to enjoy it. (I prefer Twycross if we're after zoos!)
Thomas Land itself is pretty decent too. There is loads to fill a day with little ones.

I might try and tempt ds1 onto some bigger rides (then ds2 will want to come too...)

The Wild West Shoot Out ? just a gentle ride round while you shoot at targets with your gun, make sure you check your score at the end!

Buffalo Roller Coaster ? might be a gentle introduction to little roller coasters

And don't miss the other train ride, better than thomas it goes all round the park.
