Hiya

Travelling to Trowbridge on Friday to stay in cottage for 2 nights so we can visit Longleat Sarafi Park on Saturday. We will arrive in Trowbridge mid-morning on Friday and we're looking for something to do with DCs who are 19 months and nearly 4. Anyone got any ideas? We don't mind stopping off on the way to Trowbridge so any suggestions en route from Kent welcome.

Thanks!

We visited the safari park at Longleat last week and it cost £63 for 2adults and 2 kids. I couldn't believe the price. I think there are lots of things other than the safari park to do but we didn't have time, so if you are going leave enough time to make it worth your while.

thanks for the message - we are paying with Tesco vouchers so will only have to pay for DS - about a tenner i think!

Lacock Abbey (used in Harry Potter 1&2)

Bowood House

Brokerswood

Avebury

Bath Just as fun to walk round and look at things like The Circus and The Abbey, Pump Rooms etc. Maybe take an open topped bus ride round the city.

Southwick country park on outskirts of Trowbridge. Neston park farm shop has lovely coffee and food and playground for kids including nature trail. Avoid Trowbridge itself if you can!

Actually kids did love the Roman Baths, I thought they were pretty cool too. Lovely shops in Bath.

Yes, southwick country park is lovely - either for a nice walk, or to see their small selection of animals (for v minimal price)
