Gites or camping sites by the day not week?

Hiya, probably a long shot but looking for somewhere Brittany or Normandy area in July that I could rent for a few days, I do realise July is high season so the chances are the rental period would be the full week.

We are first staying at a gite in the Vendee for a week which I am so looking forward to and I would like to extend the holiday by a few days by either staying in another gite or even a site with tents, unfortunately due to work commitments we cant extend it for another week as have to be back home.

What about Chambres d'hote /b+b? You will have more luck finding just a couple days.
